The Osprey Metron is designed for urban bike commuters who want a sleek, comfortable pack that doesn’t skimp on technical features. High-visibility features keep you seen, a loop secures your helmet and pockets organize your laptop, documents and even dirty gear. The Metron is also a great overnight travel pack. The pack’s padded backpanel and harness use mesh-covered ridge foam for ventilation. Load lifter straps and a webbed, removable waistbelt help to stabilize your load and dial in fit. An adjustable sternum strap features a safety whistle and can be removed if not needed. The pack offers over 1600 cubic inches (or 26 liters) of storage. The main compartment offers dedicated places for a laptop (up to a 15” screen) and documents and has a dedicated pocket for dirty shoes and clothing. Other storage options include a front panel stretch mesh pocket, a front organizational pocket, and a side panel stretch mesh/zippered pocket that can be accessed even while riding. The pack even has a scratch-free sunglasses/electronics pocket. Osprey’s patented StraightJacket system allows you to effectively compress the pack when not fully loaded or expand it to maximize internal capacity. Other features include reflective print and zipper pulls, an integrated high-visibility raincover, a hidden helmet carrying loop, and a blinker light loop (light not included).
